CVS’ Knowledge Hub platform now includes a dedicated Small Animal Hub – giving vets within this division access to over 450 courses, programmes and webinars on demand.
The online portfolio is categorised into disciplines – such as cardiology, neurology and anaesthesia – in a library of peer-reviewed courses, training and support, covering everything from foundational principles to advanced techniques.
Available exclusively to CVS colleagues, Knowledge Hub training content is created by an in-house team of 35 people. The format of courses ranges from hour-long ‘bite-sized’ learning to level 7 accredited certificates in leadership and management. Online courses are designed for learners to complete in their own time at their own pace. All courses are as interactive as possible, CVS reports, with high-quality assessment built in, to encourage reflective learning and progression of skills and knowledge – and to move away from the notion of meeting minimum CPD requirements as a ‘tick box’ exercise.
